6 Days – Kilimanjaro Machame Route Itinerary
Day 1: Machame Gate (1,640m) → Machame Camp (2,835m)
Your Kilimanjaro adventure begins at Machame Gate. Trek through dense rainforest filled with wildlife, giant ferns, and moss-covered trees. Arrive at Machame Camp as the climate shifts into cooler mountain air.
Hiking Time: 5–7 hours

Day 2: Machame Camp → Shira Camp (3,750m)
The trail climbs steeply out of the forest into the open moorland. As the vegetation thins, stunning views of Shira Ridge and Kibo Cone appear.
